How can people be so stupid

I have now dealt with the Conway Revenue Office on about 10 occassions since moving to Conway. I know that going to these places is a pain in the butt (from what I have heard)...but never did I imagine that every person that worked there were complete helpless.

Here is the low down- First, I purchased Cristi's car from her mom so that my name could be on the title, and we could lower payments and we could pay off the car. never would have never thought that it would be so difficult. when reciving the loan payments from the bank, they included information on how to change the title over...no problem...i went straing tot he office and said, i need to get the title changed....they said...come back with this and this and this...and i said ok....

next trip to the revenue office...."i'm sorry sir, we can't do anything until the seller signs the title...and you will need this paper and this paper and this paper"...all the papers i had brought with me were not what they needed after all.

next trip....same run around...i had to bring different papers than what i had brought.

the next trip, cristi went and found out that, we had to get the car assessed..again, even though it had already been assessed that year. so we bring it back up there, and they finally take care of it....this is over a 2 month period mind you...so i thought it was finally over....

I was wrong. we got the title in the mail today, and wouldn't you know, they were able to mess it up somehow...They put cristi's maiden name on it, even though we told them to begin with that that was not her name, and in fact, she signed her name as Cristi Walker, on every paper she had to. how can people be this ignorant?

ON TOP OF ALL THIS....i had to go to the revenue office to get my trailer title changed, because they were able to mess up my name from DJ Walker on teh assessment papers to DJ Walter on the title and registration..

i'm sick of these people, and they will be getting a piece of my mind this afternoon.

were you not aware that the previous owner had
to sign the title before your name could be on it???

yes, that wasn't an issue, seeing as how cristi was one of the previous owners, that wasn't difficult to do.....but the point is, everytime i went in there, they would tell me something different, in fact, at one point, i remember one of them telling me that all i had to do was sign on a couple of lines, and bring this paper and some other stuff, then i came back, adn found out that person had lied about that, and blah blah blah...
